Formula (assumes water, density = 1 g/mL)

tsp = mg × 0.001 (mL per mg) ÷ 4.92892 (mL per tsp)
→ tsp = mg ÷ 4,928.92 - tsp → mg:
mg = tsp × 4.92892 (mL per tsp) × 1000 (mg per g)
→ mg = tsp × 4,928.92
